[videopress FrHyLNWi]What an amazing year it has been. As we close public events on the farm for the year, we are humbled and excited by what all has occurred here.
The most recent on-farm conference was a success. We had an opportunity to meet so many wonderful people who travelled from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Virginia to be present. We heard speakers and workshops covering topics from prayer to quail, economics and beginning homesteading. What a phenomenal day! We encourage you to join our email list to stay up to date on farm events, farm products and more. To join the Email List, click here.
This week we are processing pasture-raised chicken – we have received so many reservations that we are unsure how many exactly will be available for individual orders. If we determine that there are enough, we will list them in the store. Note – the store site will be updated this week. We are excited to include reservations for pasture-raised poultry, beef, pork and turkey for the upcoming year! Begin planning now – if you want food with a quality that is determined in part by the stewardship model of Little Way Farm and Homestead, we encourage you to let us know as soon as possible.
We are also preparing to plant garlic this week. Garlic is an important crop at Little Way Farm and Homestead and we look forward to the increased planting schedule this year. We are planting somewhere around six times more garlic this year than in 2022. We hope to have a significant portion of seed garlic available for buyers next Summer!
