Welcome to the Farm in Southeastern Indiana

About the Farm in Indiana

The Farm was incorporated in September, 2022 and is located in Southeastern, Indiana near Vevay and between Madison and Lawrenceburg. Many people will travel from the surrounding Southeastern, IN, Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky tri-state region to visit the farm for tours, conferences, workshops and to purchase farm-raised food. In 2024, Little Way Farm and Homestead expects to launch a Cottage Line of farm-produced products that can be shipped throughout the United States.

The inspiration for beginning a farm to produce pasture-raised meat, herbs, produce and more, however, began years prior to its founding. The Farm at Little Way Farm and Homestead is owned and operated by Mathew and Carissa Winters. You can often see the family at work throughout the pastures or gardens when travelling on State Road 56, or down Sullivan Road.

At the Farm, the use of synthetic chemicals is prohibited. The animals are treated with care and are included into regenerative agricultural practices to support soil health and the ecology of the farm. Regenerative Agricultural practices are a step not simply towards supporting the natural ecosystem of the land at Little Way Farm and Homestead, but towards the future health and security of the community, customers and family who rely on its production for natural sustenance.

The Farm is open from April 01 to October 31.

The anticipated Meat Offers for 2024 include:

   – Pasture-Raised Chicken (Soy-Free, Organic and Non-GMO Feed):

   – Grass-Fed and Grass-Finished Beef

   – Grass-Fed and Grass-Finished Lamb:

   – Pasture / Forest Raised Pork (Soy-Free, Organic and Non-GMO Feed)

   – Pasture-Raised Turkey

   – Garlic (Seed & Culinary)

   – Cottage Line (2024 Launch)

Due to continued awareness regarding the importance of quality meat, we strongly encourage contacting us with any questions pertaining to how our meat is produced. If you want to tour the farm, participate in a workshop day, or otherwise learn more – please contact us.

Good Food Can be Nourishing and Delicious!

our farm practices

We do not use synthetic chemicals including herbicides, insecticides, pesticides or other chemicals we would not want in our family's food.

Crop Selection

We promote the inclusion of heirloom and open-pollinated plant varieties which encourages seed-saving and climate-centric plant growth.

Our ruminant animals live on a primary diet of forage and farm-produced treats. Supplemental feeds for all animal classes are organic, non-gmo and soy-free
